About Us
Whats in the name
For over 12 years of my childhood, my parents worked diligently, crafting a 38’ sailboat in the back yard of our prairie home from the ground up. Affectionately named the Prairie Seashell, my parents subsequently went on to sail it around the coast of Mexico for 8 winters. My father lived his life with care and commitment, and today I carry his legacy proudly, in my dedication to the wellbeing of animals.
From personal experience, I determined there was a glaring need for extended
medical support for pets who’s recovery was ongoing. It became apparent that
my eighteen years of passion, education and experience had led to that
moment and as a result, Prairie Seashell Pet Care was born.

What We Do
Dog Walking Packages
$23 - 36/Walk
- Low Energy/Small Dog 30 min private walk in your neighborhood. $23.00/Walk
- Active Dog 1 hour private walk in your neighborhood. $30.00/Walk
- High Energy Dog Transportation to an off leash park for 1 hour of exercise. $36.00
- We clean up ALL waste we see along the way using environmentally friendly bags.
- Each additional dog $5
Mobile Dog Grooming

- Nail Trims
- One time trim $20
- 6 Month Subscription Service $80(scheduled every 3-6 weeks depending on pets need)
- A Bath and Brush to Freshen Up $70-$140
- Bath and Tidy $90-$130 Trim Face, Feet, Fanny as needed.
- Bath and Shave $100-$150
- Full grooming packages $115 and up
- Scissoring, Breed Trims and Fancy hair do’s
- All grooms include nail trim, ear cleaning and recommendations for maintaining and training.
In Home Visits
$26/Visit
- A 30 min visit with your animal during the day.
- Great for Potty Breaks, Brain Games and Socialization for all pets, From cats and dogs, to Rodents, Birds, Reptiles and even Horses.
- Administration of any medications can also be done during these visits.
- Extra time, Walks, Feeding and more can be added. (Up to 2 Animals)
